| Day 4 |
| As nearing into day 4 with no power, I'm trying to remember to stay cool. Last night I did sleep over at Carla's house. I was so comfortable, I was actually able to sleep. I'm not in a grumpy mood, I'm ready to take on the world. Although, I still came to work to watch Charmed , I recorded it last night on the TV that is at my desk. Then I check my email, and look at websites. I love my job. |

| Fact of the Day: |
Candles are not only for smelling they are also for light as well.
Can you believe it, by the time your read this it will be over 48 hours since I have not had power. I wrote this in the dark, but not in the complete dark. I had about seven little candles lighting my room, I am starting to enjoy the simple pleasures in life like taking a cold shower, candle light, the radio and reading. You know what fuck that!!! I actually look foward to work because I am to access the internet, watch TV, and sit in air conditioning. I came to work 2 hours early so I could sit in the break room and rest. I've slept about 5 hours in the past two days. I'm cranky and tired. I work for a supplier of Cable TV so I get upset when customers call and yell because they have no cable. I would love to tell them that we will get their cable working as soon as soon as my power is working. But I understand, three hurricanes and everyone is agitated. I actually consider myself lucky for many reasons; three hurricanes this is the first time I lost power, I still have a house, and my neighbor let us use some power from his generator. So all in all Its not that bad, although if I still don't have power tonight I am sleeping over at Carlas house. I need to be in a good mood. I am trying for that supervisor postion at work.
I hope everyone has a great day!
P.S. I will post some pictures of my neighborhood once I have power and can upload my photos. |

| The Stone Age. |
| So here I am at work updating this. I have no power at my home, so that means no computer no electricity :( . On my way to work this morning, I got into a fight with the Dunkin Donut lady who was outside "directing traffic". She wanted me to move my car because I was blocking traffic. Well I wasn't blocking traffic, because I had no where to go. She started to yell at me I called her a stupid bitch and left. Now I am not normally like that, but sleeping in a house with no electricity and tossing and turning it made me mega bitch this morning. Ugh, I went to jofferys and it was much better coffee then Dunkin donuts. So far that's my morning. I hope the day gets better. It probably will. Hope you guys have a great day! |

| Where have all the Twinkies gone? |
| Last year at my company's "End of the Year party" we were wined and dined. When I say that I mean $7.00 drinks, Twinkies and SnowBalls for desert. Yes you heard that right Twinkies and SnowBalls. We call it a touch of class. Since then we have brought Twinkes to Weddings, House warming parties, and just anything we could think of. Then today I am reading the news and I see this Hostess going out of business. I've had to call my friends because we need to save the twinkie buisness. I mean we could go and buy $100.00 each then save it for years, never having to eat them until we do! Come on America, lets save our twinkies! |

| Always Low Prices, Always! |
Okay, I have a confession to make, I love Walmart. You just never know what you will find or who you are going to see. Each aisle is like a new land waiting to be discovered. New gadgets that sparkle and shine, and things that try to make your life easier so we can get more lazy. You've got your low low prices, plus they are open 24 hours. Which makes it oh so convienent for me because I don't get off of work till 10pm.
One thing that I like about Walmart is that everyone goes there. You'll never know what you'll see or who'll you see. Like the teenagers who don't wear enough clothes, or the shorts that say spicy on the butt. My friend Joel and I, want to market pants that have licences plates on the butt with turn signals that work.
On Sunday, I walked in a saw this girl I haven't seen in years. When I saw her it was a shock because she had shaved her head. We were in Girl Scouts together! I think when she went into the Navy she changed. The last time I hung out with her was when we went to see What Dreams May Come. She had all her hair then, and she was out of the Navy. Sometimes I wonder what happened.
I've met up with a lot of people I haven't seen in years at Wal Mart, its almost like a reunion center. But, its just not me, walk though it one day, you'll see it too! People just stop and talk to other people they haven't seen. Thanks Wal Mart, for bring people together. |

| Within a mile of home |
Its was like fate, I wasn't looking for it. I didn't even know it existed. Carla and I were in walmart after work tonight she was looking for Mighty mighty Bosstones, I wasn't looking for anything. But as I turned around I saw it. The new Flogging Molly CD. I love Flogging Molly. Ever since Drunken lulubys. Check them out! They are great. I also bought Star Wars figurines. But these are normal, they are miniutures that look like kids. I will post pictures later. After I open them up and pose them. I am such a dork. But I guess that's my parents influence on me. When I was two weeks old my parents took me to see Empire Strikes Back. I'm not a fan of the prequeal. Except for the part in two when Yoda goes all kung fu! That was awesome. The last thing I bought was an Ahman Green figurine. Gotta love the packers!
P.S. I was doing spell check and dork came up in the spell check!!!! What is that??? |

| Thanks Ivan |
I woke up this morning to a beautiful 80 degrees with a light wind, all thanks to Hurricane Ivan. This time Tampa lucked out and did not recieve hardly any effects from Hurricane Ivan. Now we have to watch Tropical Storm Jeanne, but NOAA states that its not going to affect Florida much. Which is good.
The on going joke is that I am going to move to Wisconsin, because at least I know that it will snow there, there is no other factors that I have to worry about. With Hurricane Charley, Hurricane Frances, and Hurricane Ivan it was enough to put me in a mental institute. I was addicted to NOAA, The Weather Channel, and Bay News 9, like I was a crack whore, waiting for my next hit. But now I know enough that I can challange Al Roker to his job on the Today Show. Bring on Al, bring it on! |

If you like Jazz, and have not heard of him yet. I'd check this guy out. Found him while I was looking for Miles Davis and various other artists... I just wish he was coming closer to me on tour!

| A Poem to My Ex. |
Maybe You Were Gay.
You said the right things You did the right things
Then you stopped. Said you were busy.
You had no job. You had no money.
I defended you. I waited for you.
I stopped caring. When you stopped responding
You said it was my fault You said I didn't appreciate
Then you came crawling I said no You cried No tears here Wait who is the guy? |

| Sad News |
| I found out yesterday that my Grandmother has to have her leg amputated. She has diabeates but never took care of herself. My Great Uncle said that she's afriad she is not going to make it through the surgery. I am really worried about her. My dad doesn't know all the details, he said he would get some more. Hopefully everything works out and there are no complications. |

| You've got to be freaking kidding me |
| Okay, I was one of those people that said, "A hurricane is never going to hit us" Well, I live in tampa and we have our 2nd threat in less than 1 month. That has not happened since the 1940's. Yes, I live on the west coast, and the hurricane will make fall on the east coast. But Hurricane frances is huge!!!! its twice as big as florida, so if it lands anywhere in florida we are all fucked! I work for the cable company, so I have a TV on my desk(I'm in technical support, so its a need) . Entertainment tonight was on and they have a story " What Celebrities are doing to prepare for Hurricane frances" ??? WTF??? Celebrities will board a flight (first class of course) to thier homes in other "safe" areas. While people who already went through Hurricane Charley, and have no homes will pray to god for some where they can stay or for it to take a turn and not hit them agian. So I am on a TV strike! I am not going to watch TV for along time... I haven't decided on the conditions, or what I just decided that I am going to do this, its for the best. TV has no quality programming. And if someone is at home saying, "Poor J.Lo, I hope her mansion in Miami is okay" Is a sad, sad little person. And I feel sorry for you! |
